Welcome to DBSA Westchester NY!
We’re glad you’re here.
You are not alone.
If you are having suicidal thoughts and are located in the United States, call or text 988 to connect with a trained counselor at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. If you are in immediate danger please call 911 or go to a hospital emergency room. You can also contact the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741741.
We offer Community.
We offer Support.
We offer Hope.
DBSA Westchester New York is a peer-run support group for people with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and/or other mental health conditions. We also welcome family members and caregivers of all ages who may have questions about what these illnesses are, other related matters, or simply wish to be of support to their loved ones. All our meetings are free of charge and we always welcome new members. We are not a healthcare organization and not a substitute for treatment with a psychiatrist and psychologist/therapist. We are a group of peers who share our own personal lived experiences with our condition to support each other and remind ourselves that we are not alone.
We are currently offering meetings via Zoom every Wednesday and In-Person every Thursday. We look forward to meeting you!
